“The number one group that depends on you are the citizens of Coolidge. ... This is something you must take seriously because becoming a firefighter sometimes is a life-or-death situation.” Those were just a few of the choice words Coolidge Fire Chief Mark Dillon had to say to the four cadets graduating from the Coolidge Fire Academy. On Friday, the four dedicated community members that make up Coolidge Fire Department’s class 17-01 officially assumed the role of volunteer firefighters. The new members of the Coolidge Fire team are: Trey McHugh, Bailie Murrieta, Garrett Schumacher, Brandon Yeoman.
