Peoria Emergency Preparedness Coordinator Glenn Jones, graduated from FEMA’s National Emergency Management Executive Academy at the Emergency Management Institute in Emmetsburg, Maryland. Mr. Jones is a local and regional leader in emergency management, having advanced in his career through continuing education. This course puts him among a small group of less than 300 graduates to achieve this level of training. The FEMA Executive Academy provides attendees with the opportunity to work collaboratively, share smart practices, and participate in exercises with other senior leaders facing similar challenges. The academy is for senior executives at the pinnacle of their careers, and is the final phase of FEMA’s Emergency Management Professional Program.
