No one was seriously injured in a house fire Saturday in Arizona City, but the structure suffered extensive damage, authorities said. The Arizona City Fire District received a call at 2:56 p.m. about a structure fire with residents trapped at 15116 S. Avalon Road. Upon arrival Chief Jeff Heaton identified a single story residence with heavy smoke and fire coming from the garage and found a resident exiting the structure with the help of a Pinal County Sheriff’s deputy. Three pets were also saved from the fire. Heavy smoke and fire were coming from the entrance to the home. The crew conducted a primary search and when no one else was in the structure, they focused on the location of the fire. The fire was found in the garage area and then spread to the attic.
