VIDEO: Four people are missing after an all-terrain vehicle fell off a cliff and sparked a wildfire in a remote area north of Payson, officials said Sunday afternoon. Jon Paxton, a spokesman for the Coconino County Sheriff's Office, said the fire started after the ATV veered off of Forest Road 300, careening about 400 feet down a cliff. "We believe that it's been down there for a while," Paxton said. Four people were reported overdue earlier in the day after they never returned from an ATV ride. Paxton said they were last seen in the area where the fire broke out. The fire had consumed approximately 10 acres of U.S. Forest Service land along the service road and the top of the Mogollon Rim by 6 p.m. Sunday.
