Traffic delays were reported on eastbound Interstate 10 near Vail after a semi trailer caught fire in the area Wednesday evening. According to Rincon Valley Fire District, the incident occurred on eastbound I-10 at milepost 281 near Colossal Cave Road. Officials say was shut down in connection to the incident. The driver involved was safely evacuated from the vehicle and no injuries were reported in connection to the incident. The crews have since be able to extinguish the blaze.
