Tucson Fire Department is investigating a fire that engulfed two RV’s in a backyard in Menlo Park. Just before 5pm on Sunday, Tucson Fire units were dispatched to the 100 block of South Melrose Avenue for the report of a fire. Upon arrival, crews encountered heavy fire from the backyard of a home. TFD says two RV’s and two sheds were fully engulfed in flames. A crew of 24 fire personnel were on sight and kept the fire contained to the backyard, avoiding any damage to the home. According to TFD, all residents were accounted for, including the family pets; 7 dogs and 2 turtles, and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
