A Sacramento Metro firefighter has been injured at a house fire on Bradshaw Road early Thursday morning. He received burn injuries to is body and has been transported to the hospital. The extent of his burns is unknown at this time. The call came in at around 4:30 a.m.for a heavy fire spotted in the back of a single-story house. There was no fire hydrant nearby so initially it was difficult for crews to get through. There was no on home at the time of the incident but unfortunately a dog was found. The dog died on scene. The fire's cause is under investigation. Crews will be on scene for much of the morning.
