Crews rescued three people — one of them found hanging upside-down — who were stuck on a bungee jump ride at the Ventura County Fair on Wednesday night, authorities said. The incident was reported at 7:55 p.m. PT at the Ventura County Fairgrounds on Harbor Boulevard. The upside-down person was about 30 feet in the air and had reportedly been in that position for at least 20 minutes before rescuers arrived. The person did not appear to be in medical distress, officials said. The man was hanging halfway between the ground and the platform from where he jumped. He appeared to be doing crunches as he waited, a witness stated.
