Three residents and a firefighter were injured in an apartment fire in San Jose this afternoon, according to fire officials. Wednesday’s high winds posed a challenge for firefighters trying to put out a two-alarm fire at an East San Jose condo building. The fire broke out in the 2900 of Florence Avenue displacing 10 people. A neighbor's cell phone video captures the intense flames ripping through an East San Jose condominium. An older couple was inside their home at the time, as neighbors rushed to rescue them. “We broke in and all we saw was a lady that jumped upstairs downstairs to the floor,” said Neighbor Alexandra Arreola. “The older man was burned from the face and hair and good they came out in time.”
