Firefighters were posted along Dinely Drive Thursday afternoon, each working toward the same goal -- containment. While some worked the line to keep vegetation from catching fire, others sat back-to-back, sleep deprived and covered in ash and soot. One firefighter was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for heat exhaustion on Wednesday but was released later that day. Nearly 300 firefighters from across the county and state have been assigned to the Dinely Fire. The Three Rivers wildland fire has claimed nearly 350 acres acres and is now 35 percent contained.
