A Riverside area transient pleaded guilty Monday, Jan. 8, to five counts of arson involving local businesses, an apartment complex and a county building damaged over a four-day period last summer, according to a Riverside city Fire Department news release.
Daniel John Moreno changed his plea to the felony counts in a plea to the court, according to Riverside County Superior Court records. Moreno faces a sentence of six year and four months in prison when he is sentenced Jan 18.
The fires were in the area of the 9700 block of Magnolia and the 3900 block of Reynolds Road in the Arlington neighborhood of Riverside.
