The Ferguson Fire is on the march cutting a slow, destructive path towards Yosemite National Park.
That wildfire burning in Mariposa County grew overnight a little more than a thousand acres, now scorching 22,892 acres. It has hundreds of firefighters on the front line working to protect homes and push back the flames. Overnight crews held the line keeping containment around seven-percent of that wildfire.
As it moves east, closer to Yosemite National Park, it's forced a new evacuation with residents of the El Portal Trailer Court being forced to leave their homes. They join a growing list of others in nearby communities that have remained evacuated all week.
