San Francisco fire crews rescue woman from fourth-floor balcony

The San Francisco Fire Department got a two-alarm fire a five-story residential building early Tuesday morning, which displaced six people and prompted the rescue of one woman from a fourth-floor balcony. KTVU's camera captured part of the rescue on the 1500 block of Jackson Street, as crews assisted her out of her window onto their ladder. She was treated for injuries by paramedics and was said to be OK. Art Zendarski woke up to the smell of smoke about 4 a.m. The fire was was under control in less than 30 minutes, firefighters said.
