VIDEO/PHOTOS: A man was killed in an early-morning fire at an RV park in Oroville. The fire was reported just after 2 a.m. at Parkview Estates, an RV Park on the 3800 block of Olive Highway. Butte County CAL FIRE and Oroville Fire Department responded to the fire and found the RV fully engulfed in flames. Once the fire was extinguished, crews found a body inside. CAL FIRE Battalion Chief Rob Bartsch told Action News Now they found a man's body in the front of the RV behind the window. His body was the only one found inside and neighbors confirmed he lived alone. Neighbors told Action News Now that they saw the flames a little before 2 a.m. and woke up surrounding neighbors. One man used a hose to try and contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to the RVs next-door, as well as the tree and branches right above the fully involved RV.
