The Loveland Fire and Rescue Authority responded to a garage fire at 2912 Virginia Drive Sunday night, rescuing a family cat. The home attached to the garage had four occupants at the time of the fire, said Loveland Fire Division Chief Greg Ward. Those residents were out of the home when the first two engines arrived just after 8:39 p.m., but firefighters entered the home to find a family cat. They evacuated the cat, who later fled into the back yard. "I assume he's doing fine," Ward said. "The family and some of our guys are looking for it."
