VIDEO: There is a brand new fire truck that will soon be patrolling Grand Junction streets and after it's dedication on June 5, it's all ready to go. Their new ladder truck is called Truck One and it's a replacement for the truck that was damaged in last year's ice storm. Those with the fire department said it's exciting to have this new piece of critical equipment, because they rely on it to protect the public. "Blessed that we have the opportunity to put the new truck in service, like I said, it's been kind of a long time coming. When we lost the other ladder truck it was really a blow to the organization," said Chief Ken Watkins of the Grand Junction Fire Department.
