A house fire is under investigation in El Paso County.
Around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, the Cimarron Hills Fire Department responded to Pennydale Drive, near Woodmen and Black Forest in northeast Colorado Springs, to a structure fire. Fire crews on scene told 11 News it took about 15 minutes to get the fire under control.
Firefighters say there was extensive damage to the garage, with some damage inside the home as well. The family was reportedly able to safely evacuate with no injuries. Firefighters say the family of 10 will be out of their home for the night.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
