One person was hurt in a single vehicle rollover wreck on Thompson Bridge Road south of the Brandywine Creek Tuesday morning, February 13, 2018. Talleyville Fire Company was notified of the crash just before 7:30 a.m. A Jeep hit a patch of ice, rolled over and smashed into a split rail fence. New Castle County paramedics treated a 40-year old woman on scene before she was taken to Christiana Hospital with a hand injury. The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) was called in to clear the ice, and to try and stem the flow of rain runoff in the area that led to the icing conditions. Delaware State troopers were on scene investigating.
