A strong odor of gas led to the evacuation of one of the buildings at the Powder Mill Square shopping complex in Greenville Friday morning, February 16, 2018. Firefighters and Delmarva Power were called to the PNC Bank branch at Kennett Pike and Buck Road just before 10 a.m. The building in which the bank is located was evacuated while firefighters checked each business in the row with devices used to measure gas levels. They isolated the problem to Cromwell's Restaurant and quickly secured the situation.
