Two men are in the hospital after similar but separate beach accidents in Sussex County. According to the Bethany Beach Fire Department, both men suffered head, neck and back injuries while at the beach. Bethany Beach Fire Chief Brian Martin classified the injuries as "surf-related." One man was transported from the beach off the Ocean Breezes neighborhood. The other was in Fenwick Island State Park. Martin says both men were airlifted to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
