Route 141 northbound near Boxwood Road reopened just before 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2018, after being shuttered for nearly two hours due to a truck fire.
Several fire trucks and emergency personnel were at the scene around 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, when flames were still visible and thick gray smoke filled the hot, humid air. Emergency crews were aiding cars in reversing to go the wrong-way down Rte. 141 to exit. Others weren't so fortunate and were stuck. Traffic was backed up for a few miles.
Route 141 southbound also lost a lane due to crash clean-up.
