Part of a neighborhood in Kirkwood was on lockdown for nearly ten hours as the result of an investigation into possible explosive devices found inside a home.
New Castle County police were called to the 900 block of Clydesdale Drive in Rolling Meadows around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 for an unrelated incident but discovered possible explosive devices in the residence. They were removed from the home for further investigation.
Neighbors surrounding the home, who had been told to shelter in place, were given the all clear around 10 a.m.
