One of Rehoboth Beach's major thoroughfares will be closed for much of November.
The Delaware Department of Transportation announced that the bridge over Silver Lake--between Lake Drive and Robinson Drive--will be closed for repairs starting Wednesday, Nov. 7. DelDOT says during a routine inspection, it discovered the need to make a number of repairs to the entire bridge. In total, DelDOT says it will replace the bridge joints, repairing part of the bridge's concrete deck, timber slab, and parts of the road leading up to the bridge.
Some who live near the bridge say they're not worried about getting around town.
