A Seaford man was arrested and charged with attempted arson after police say he tried to burn a local church to the ground after a threw a Molotov Cocktail through the glass door to Miracle Revival Center in Seaford.
According to the Seaford Police Department, officers were called to Miracle Revival Center Church on Monday, September 3, for reports of an attempted arson. Upon arrival, they met with the pastor, who called 911 after he discovered glass to a doorway into the church had been broken.
Inside the church, officers located a Molotov Cocktail style device lying on the floor. The device appeared to have extinguished itself prior to causing any damage, according to police.
