A massive fire is burning at an auto body warehouse in the Stanton Industrial Park off of Route 7.
The commercial fire was reported at 705 Stanton Christiana Road at 9:07 a.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2018, according to the Christiana Fire Company.
Heavy fire and thick black smoke was visible coming from the roof of the building with firefighters from various fire companies, including Minquas, Christiana and Belvedere were seen cutting into the metal siding of the business, attacking the fire from both the ground and the sky.
A witness from a nearby tree-trimming business told WDEL that they were at work when they started to hear about the fire and had to get their own vehicles out of the area.
