The first fire, which broke out on Lake Drive, torched four mobile homes. At least one was destroyed.
Only one of the mobile homes was occupied.
According to Brevard County Fire Rescue, the four mobile homes were engulfed in flames in a matter of minutes. The fire started in one mobile home at about 1 p.m. and quickly jumped to others.
"If it gets a good head start on us, it doesn't take any more than minutes to get fully involved," Assistant Fire Chief of Operations Scott Gold said.
Rorie Mathews lives in one of the mobile homes consumed by the fire.
