Panama City Beach has started advertising for bids for the construction of a new fire station. It will be located off nautilus street north of panama city beach parkway.
This project includes construction of an approximately 15,500-square foot building, and includes site work, parking, access, exterior lighting, landscaping, irrigation and signage. Bids will be received until 2 p.m. Tuesday January 15th at the City Hall Annex.
It will be the city's third fire station and strategically located between the Panama City Beach Parkway Station, and the Hutchison Boulevard Station
The fire station will create up to 18 new firefighter positions; six have been hired since the start of the new fiscal year on October 1.
