An Ocala firefighter is now a certified critical care paramedic. Ashley Andrews spent five months in the University of Florid's Critical Care Paramedic program. Program topics range from the biomechanics of ventilation to neonatal care. Only those who learn the material as second nature, successfully complete the program. Andrews is now the fourth member of Ocala Fire Rescue to receive this certification.
