Tractor-trailer erupts into flames on I-75 in Fort Myers

PHOTO: An 18-wheeler semi-truck was seen engulfed in flames on I-75 early Sunday morning. Initial reports of a fire on I-75 rang in at 6:19 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers arrived at the scene of the vehicle fire at 6:28 a.m. The outside and center lane of Southbound I-75 was blocked when the tractor-trailer caught on fire, according to FHP. The scene was located at the SR 82 / Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. exit of I-75. Fire crews also responded to the scene and extinguished the flames.
