City of Morrow Fire Lt. James Fleming was recently recognized as the Public Safety Officer of the Year by the Knights of Columbus Tara Council 6352. The local council holds an annual event each October at its Flint River Road lodge honoring public safety officers across Clayton County and its municipalities. Fleming was chosen for the top honor from among a group of officers nominated by their respective agencies. “We are very pleased that Lt. Fleming has chosen to serve the Morrow community,” said Morrow Fire Chief Roger Swint in a press release.
