On December 5, 2017, at approximately 10:27 a.m. officers with the Adairsville Police Department along with Bartow County Fire Department personnel responded to 105 Sparks St. in reference to a structure fire. The 911 caller stated this was a vacant mobile home which was boarded up and that someone was inside the residence and appeared to be throwing objects out of a window. Upon arriving at the scene officers observed smoke coming from this location. As members of the Fire Department were extinguishing the fire, officers with the Adairsville Police Department were interviewing witnesses to gather information as to the cause of the fire.
