An overnight apartment fire is under investigation in Savannah. An official with Savannah Fire said the blaze broke out around 2 a.m. Friday at Clearview Apartments on Clearview Avenue. When fire crews arrived, they noticed fire and smoke coming from inside one of the apartment units. It took firefighters just five minutes to put out the fire. The apartment unit where the fire originated is a total loss. Officials say no one lived in the apartment and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
