Lee County Fire and Rescue will soon have a live fire training facility to help train firefighters, with an obstacle course for firefighters to simulate real-life situations. Lee County Fire and Rescue Chief David Forrester said the building should have a 30-year lifespan, because it will be made of certain kinds of metals that don't easily burn. They will be able to do all the fire and rescue trainings inside and outside the building. The blueprint of the three-story facility shows one of the doors on the main floor is a forced entry bolt door. The second story has a room that they can change the layout to make it like a maze, and the third floor will have a repel tower. There will be wooden materials burned and it will house all the props that are needed. "The biggest asset of this to the citizens of Lee County will be looking at lowering their ISO rating.
