Less than three years after assuming EMS duties for the county, Coweta County Fire Rescue is now the best in the state when it comes to emergency medical response.
In a ceremony held at the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot in Atlanta on Tuesday night, the Coweta County Fire Rescue Department received the highest honor bestowed by the Georgia Association of Emergency Medical Services – the 2017 State of Georgia Emergency Medical Service of the Year. “I’m so proud of our team for this great accomplishment,” said Chief Pat Wilson. “The CCFR Team exemplifies the true meaning of ‘Service Excellence,’ and I can assure you that we will continue to provide the highest level of ‘All Hazards’ service delivery for the citizens and visitors to Coweta County. This is our commitment to an amazing community.”
