Bibb County firefighters responded to a house fire on Buena Vista Ave. in south Macon Monday evening.
There are three boarded up buildings at the address, but only one caught fire.
Battalion chief Ronnie Napier said the fire department is investigating this case as arson. He said it's a vacant home, and no one was hurt in the fire.
Napier said fire crews put out the fire in just a few minutes. The structure suffered heavy fire damage, including a caved in roof, and is considered to be a total loss.
