An overnight fire in south Macon has prompted an arson investigation. Fire crews say the call came in around 12: 30 a.m. Thursday at a vacant home in the 900 block of West Ormond Terrace, just off Houston Avenue. Battalion Chief Ronnie Napier tells WGXA News that the home was vacant, but not unoccupied and the fire department is investigating the fire as an arson. No injuries were reported. West Ormond Terrace is in the same general area of six other arson related fires over the past two months.
