Families are mourning the deaths of pets killed in an overnight fire at a Paulding County kennel. The fire engulfed a kennel and grooming business Bark Avenue West overnight Tuesday. A fire spokesman said the flames sparked around midnight, killing two dogs and two cats. Billy Fennell has taken his two schnauzers to the Temple business off Buchanan Highway religiously for years. “Great people. It’s devastating,” Fennell said. “I hate to see that happen. I don’t know what I’m going to do with my little doggies now.” Crossroads Market owner Blake Duckworth is sad for fellow business and pet owners.
