The wife of a Macon-Bibb firefighter talked with WGXA about the effect her husband's post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) has had on her family. In 2015, Jessie Michie got a terrifying call that her husband Adam Michie had been injured in a fire. Since then, they've battled his PTSD together, and have grown closer as a family. Jessie Michie was at church with her three daughters when she got a call about her husband Adam being hurt while fighting a fire in Macon. She got to the hospital as quickly as possible. "I broke down because you know seeing him, seeing he was alive, and just knowing he was okay," said Jessie.
