Honolulu firefighters are battling a fire at a small storage shed on Waiawa Road that created huge plumes of smoke that could be seen from the H-1 Freeway. The fire happened just before 8 a.m. on Thursday. The Honolulu Fire Department said the storage shed was fully involved upon arrival. Firefighters managed to get the blaze under control by 8:10 a.m. There were no reports of any other damage or injuries.
