A group of Marine firefighters honored the 9-11 firefighters with a memorial march up Koko Head Monday.
Dressed in 40 pounds of gear, the American flag in their hands and photos of fallen firefighters in their pockets, these Marines from Kaneohe Bay marched up Koko Head.
Underneath the beating hot sun, they climbed halfway up, back down, then all the way to the top.
In total, they climbed 1,980 stairs, that represents the 110 floors of the World Trade Centers.
For these men, the march is more than just a tribute, it's a small gesture to show they will never forget.
