Firefighters are at the scene of a three-alarm town house fire in Mililani. The initial alarm came in just before 7 p.m. on Kapuahi Street. A second alarm was called immediately afterward. Crews arrived to find one unit fully involved in flames, and a third alarm was called at 7:04 p.m. Neighbor Robert Andrade told us he was watching the college football national champion game when he heard an odd sound. “I heard some glass cracking, like someone cracking glass. We saw the fire coming out the back of the house,” he said. After an unsuccessful attempt to turn on the water hose, “we just told the next-door neighbors that were eating dinner to get out, just yelled, told everybody to get out. In about five minutes, we made it out of there and that’s when it just exploded.”
