Firefighters responded to a head-on collision between a firetruck and a truck at 5:04 p.m. Tuesday in Punaluu. A 70-year-old female and a 7-year-old girl were transferred to EMS care at the scene of the collision near Hanohano Hale Apartments. They are both in serious condition due to injuries. All occupants of the firetruck were in stable condition. Traffic was contra-flow along 349 Kamehameha highway while Emergency Medical Services responded. Island News will have the latest updates.
