A Sunday morning wildfire at Dole Plantation caused damage to about 30 acres of land, according to Honolulu fire officials. HFD arrived on the scene of the fire a little before 10 a.m. in a large area of the brush. It took Honolulu firefighters about four hours to put out the blaze. Officials say that a quick and aggressive attack on the fire prevented it from jumping over Kamehameha Highway and spreading further. Dole Plantation's Pineapple Express train tour was suspended for around three hours due to the fire. No injuries were reported.
