Honolulu firefighters put out a car on fire just before noon Sunday.
Two lanes were blocked off on South King Street while Honolulu firefighters battled the blaze inside the Alapai Transit Center.
Crews took a hose up the ramp of the parking structure and put out the fire about half an hour later.
Residents tell KITV4 they heard explosions coming from the building.
"No other cars, some of the lights, some of the lights in the structure were melted and paint and concrete as well," HFD Battalion Chief Paul Miguel said. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
