Honolulu firefighters put out a car fire Sunday just before noon. Video shows smoke coming from inside the the Alapai transit center. Police blocked off two lanes off South King Street -- just down the road from KITV4. Crews had to lug a hose up the ramp into the parking structure. The fire was put out in 15 minutes. Residents say they heard an explosion coming from the building. HFD Battalion Chief Paul Miguel said, "No other cars, some of the lights, some of the lights in the structure were melted and paint spilling and concrete as well." No injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
