Three people, including two firefighters, have been treated for injuries after a blaze that damaged a camper and house in Linn County. Firetrucks were dispatched just after 8 p.m. Tuesday to a residence about two miles west of Central City. Authorities say a fire that started in a camper spread to a nearby house. Two people in the house and one in the camper got out safely, but another person in the camper was sent to an Iowa City hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation. The Linn County Sheriff’s Office says an Alburnett firefighter required hospital treatment for a leg injury, and a Central City firefighter was treated at the scene for a dog bite. The fire cause is being investigated.
