A woman and two young children were rescued from a burning mobile home fire late Sunday. Cedar Falls Battalion Chief Curt Hildebrand said the woman was rescued out of a front window, while the children, a 3-year-old boy and a 5-yearold girl, were found in another part of the trailer and taken out the front door. Hildebrand said all three were taken to the hospital; all were conscious when found. The fire was reported at 11:42 p.m. at 2508 Union Road, No. 111. Hildebrand said the fire was quickly extinguished, but that crews were resent to the residence about 4 a.m. today. Fire officials said the fire rekindled and caused further damage. A cause was not immediately known. The fire was in the front living room area of the trailer, he said. The names of the residents were not released.
