VIDEO: Emergency crews were called to a fire at a building under construction in Warren County. The fire broke out at about 5:20 a.m. in northern Warren County at G24 and 98th Avenue at the LovingRest Pet Funeral Home. About half of the structure was destroyed before crews could get the fire under control. Jimmy Johnson, the owner of the business, told KCCI’s Alyx Sacks that his wife first spotted the fire through a window in their home. Johnson said he called 911 and ran into the building to try to save some equipment. Northern Warren County Fire Chief Brian Vance said the cause of the fire is not yet known, but there was a lot of lightning in the area at the time. There are no reports of injuries in the fire.
