Crews were called to battle a house fire at 1306 Harrison Drive, late Thursday afternoon, May 26, 2016. The call came in around 4:55 p.m., reporting smoke coming out of the eves of the home. Officials say no one was home when firefighters arrived. Crews were able to extinguish the fire that was located in the second floor bedroom. The home was heavily damaged by smoke and fire, but officials say the resident did have home owner’s insurance. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
