PHOTO: A building in southwest Cedar Rapids is a total loss following an early morning fire. Crews were called out around 1:15 Friday morning after neighbors saw smoke coming from a building. Police tell CBS 2 they found the building, which is owned by Lang Co. Roofing, with smoke and flames coming from the back. At least eight units were on scene helping to put the fire out. It took firefighters about a half hour to get the flames under control. CBS 2 was told the building was being used for storage and that the roof caved in.
